Role Overview
The position of Assistant Manager HR for the Commercial Air Conditioning (CAC) zone involves overseeing and executing essential HR operations. This includes recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and ensuring compliance across the zone. The incumbent will actively engage in daily HR functions while collaborating closely with zonal leadership to implement and communicate organizational policies and initiatives effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for zonal vacancies, ensuring roles are filled promptly.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and organize interview procedures.
- Oversee onboarding processes to facilitate seamless integration of new employees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and zonal leaders.
- Implement and support employee engagement programs to enhance workplace environment.
- Address and resolve employee grievances swiftly to maintain positive relations.
- Coordinate and facilitate performance appraisal cycles, ensuring timely completion.
- Assist managers with goal setting and provide guidance on performance evaluations.
- Monitor staff performance and contribute to employee development planning.
- Identify training needs by recognizing skill gaps and recommend suitable learning programs.
- Organize training sessions and workshops for personnel within the zone.
- Encourage ongoing professional growth and continuous learning initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and internal policies at the zonal level.
- Effectively communicate and enforce HR policies across teams.
- Maintain HR dashboards tracking metrics such as attrition, recruitment timelines, and employee engagement scores.
- Prepare regular reports for zonal and senior management review.

The role demands the capacity to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and hands-on familiarity with HR systems and processes.
Qualifications
The candidate should be a graduate in management with at least five years of professional experience in human resources.

This is an individual contributor position reporting directly to Head HR - CAC; there are no direct reports for this role.
