Role Overview
This full-time, onsite position based in the San Francisco Bay Area invites a Junior Architectural Designer to contribute to various architectural projects. Responsibilities include assisting in all stages from initial measurements and verification at job sites to design development, plan submission, and approval processes. The role requires using AutoCAD software to produce accurate drawings of existing and proposed plans. Under the guidance of a Senior Designer and the Principal Architect, the Junior Designer will engage in iterative design discussions with clients, address feedback, and help resolve design challenges.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Competence in preparing detailed construction drawings and other technical documentation.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills within the architectural design process.
- Strong communication abilities and aptitude for teamwork and collaboration.
- Capability to perform effectively in an on-site work environment.
- Previous architectural industry experience is favorable but not mandatory.
