Overview
We are partnering with a progressive semiconductor technology company specializing in advanced mixed-signal ASIC designs for high-performance communication applications. Located in Cork, this company fosters a collaborative engineering culture providing opportunities to influence product strategy, lead technical innovation, and engage in the full ASIC development lifecycle.
This role is for a technically engaged leader to manage and guide the Analog IC Design team, overseeing comprehensive chip development projects from conception through production.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design engineering team.
- Coordinate and oversee ASIC development projects ensuring successful delivery.
- Establish and define technical roadmaps to guide future ASIC innovations.
- Supervise tape-out processes and silicon validation activities.
- Promote design innovation and enforce best practices in ASIC development.
- Manage project resources and timelines effectively.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams and interface with product and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in Analog and Mixed-Signal ASIC design.
- Proven track record in engineering leadership roles.
- In-depth understanding of the ASIC development lifecycle.
- Experience delivering ASIC solutions into production environments.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to silicon bring-up and characterization processes.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is approximately €140,000, with flexibility for candidates with exceptional experience, plus additional benefits.
