Analog Design Manager

Overview

We are partnering with a progressive semiconductor technology company specializing in advanced mixed-signal ASIC designs for high-performance communication applications. Located in Cork, this company fosters a collaborative engineering culture providing opportunities to influence product strategy, lead technical innovation, and engage in the full ASIC development lifecycle.

This role is for a technically engaged leader to manage and guide the Analog IC Design team, overseeing comprehensive chip development projects from conception through production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design engineering team.
• Coordinate and oversee ASIC development projects ensuring successful delivery.
• Establish and define technical roadmaps to guide future ASIC innovations.
• Supervise tape-out processes and silicon validation activities.
• Promote design innovation and enforce best practices in ASIC development.
• Manage project resources and timelines effectively.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams and interface with product and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in Analog and Mixed-Signal ASIC design.
• Proven track record in engineering leadership roles.
• In-depth understanding of the ASIC development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering ASIC solutions into production environments.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to silicon bring-up and characterization processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position is approximately €140,000, with flexibility for candidates with exceptional experience, plus additional benefits.
