Airbus First Officer - Accelerated Command Program

Job Purpose

This role offers a distinctive opportunity to join Emirates as an Airbus First Officer under an enhanced remuneration plan coupled with an accelerated pathway to command. The position entails operating from the right-hand seat for a minimum accumulation of 700 flight hours, alongside successful completion of two Evidence Based Training (EBT) recurrent modules. Upon meeting performance criteria and demonstrating required competencies, candidates become eligible to undergo an evaluation and command upgrade course accelerating their promotion.

Compensation and Benefits

• Enjoy a tax-exempt yearly compensation package up to AED 970,000 (equivalent to USD 260,000).
• Annual net cash income of AED 445,000 (USD 120,000), which covers basic salary and flight pay.
• Monthly take-home pay averaging AED 37,100 (USD 10,000), based on approximately 85 flying hours per month.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5,000 total flying hours, excluding hours logged on P3, rotary wing, and piston single/multi-engine planes.
• At least 2,000 hours in command on Boeing or Airbus fly-by-wire (FBW) aircraft.
• Minimum of 1,000 command hours specifically on Airbus FBW aircraft.
• Recent experience, having flown Airbus FBW within the past 3 years.
• At least 150 flight hours within the last 12 months on Airbus FBW or Boeing platforms.
• Holds a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrates ICAO English proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
• Note: Airbus FBW excludes the A220 model.
