About the Internship
This internship offers an immersive experience within ongoing social projects focused on Education, Health, and the Environment. Working directly with the Program Head, you will help plan, organize, oversee, and report on activities carried out in the field. This role is highly dynamic and community-oriented, involving interaction with diverse stakeholders such as community members, NGOs, government officials, and corporate CSR teams. Interns gain a comprehensive perspective on managing social initiatives at scale.
Key Responsibilities
The daily tasks for this part-time internship include:
- Program Management: Planning and scheduling initiatives, coordinating field visits and beneficiary engagement, liaising with public and partner institutions, maintaining records and databases, gathering data for monthly CSR partner reports, crafting success stories and visual content, facilitating logistics for events like health camps and environmental drives, and assisting in proposal and budget development.
- Communications & Social Media: Expanding Udaan’s digital presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter; producing engaging multimedia content including posts, reels, and infographics; authoring impactful narratives about programs and participants; managing content calendars to ensure regular updates; designing visuals using tools like Canva or Adobe; contributing to newsletters, press releases, and donor communications; engaging with online audiences; and collaborating with program staff to obtain content materials.
- CSR Partnerships: Identifying potential corporate partners aligned with Udaan’s focus areas through research and analysis of CSR compliance, developing tailored proposals and presentations for corporate CSR leaders, coordinating meetings and follow-ups, tracking prospect pipelines, assisting in impact reporting, and exploring opportunities for organizational exposure through CSR events.
Candidate Eligibility
- Availability for part-time engagement starting between June 10 and August 10, 2026, lasting 3 months.
- Interest and relevant skills in social development, community interaction, and effective communication.
- Willingness to undertake field travel in rural and semi-urban locations.
- Proficiency in Hindi and Marathi is required; English skills preferred.
- Basic competencies in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing deadlines.
- Additional experience in NGO work, government scheme knowledge, documentation, social media management, photography, videography, and video editing is advantageous.
