Projects

• Tin Capsule decorating Equipment install
  Internal team

  Received a hand built decoration machine, initially built in the 1990's with custom modifications over the next few decades. Internal Maintenance team performed the install. Team members with a bit of spare time worked on various other projects from organizing electrical, to air/vacuum install, and dust collector to manage the overspray. With lots of help from Spain, we got required City and Bay Area Air Quality Permits to operate the machine with OSHA approved Spray Ink. Developed procedures in safety, quality, and operation, and started decorating supplied shells for the US tin capsule market.

  US and Italian team worked together

  Install of new to us capsule manufacturing machines. Together with Italy, developed a layout of machines, developed infrastructure needs, power, air and Gas requirements. For employees we established a Safety protocol, Quality Procedures, SOP, and employee training plan, which changed dramatically due to COVID 19! Pretty much got one week of training before Italy team left and rest we managed ourselves.

  Moved entire operations 4 times during our growth. Team and I managed all trucking, rigging, office and inventory, and supply movements from old location to new location. In most cases we disconnected very busy manufacturing machines in the morning and had them running in the other facility that same afternoon.
