Windows Administrator

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to oversee and manage enterprise-level Windows Server infrastructures, ensuring robust security, effective patch management, and compliance adherence. This role focuses on maintaining active directory environments and supporting identity and access management within a large organizational setup in Abu Dhabi.

Primary Duties

• Manage and administer Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Coordinate deployment of patches using WSUS and SCCM tools to maintain system integrity.
• Enforce security hardening measures on Active Directory implementations.
• Establish and configure Group Policy objects to maintain security baselines across systems.
• Oversee enterprise compliance and carry out vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Support identity and access management processes to safeguard organizational resources.

Required Competencies

• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems and environments.
• Experience administering WSUS and SCCM for patch deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and security hardening techniques.
• Familiarity with Group Policy configuration and enforcement.
• Understanding of Kerberos authentication protocols.
• Expertise in Windows security best practices and hardening procedures.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate.

Location and Work Setting

Position based in Abu Dhabi, requiring onsite presence.

Experience Required

Between 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience is expected.
