Warehouse Operations Lead

Overview

This role is responsible for developing a cohesive, advanced distribution network that enhances Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited's competitive strength across all channels. The position involves collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to meet key result areas (KRAs) and service level agreements (SLAs), fostering operational improvements through methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and SGA. The role aims to boost business profitability by enhancing service levels like OTIF, DIFOT, turnaround time, and order delivery lead time while managing warehouse costs efficiently. Ensuring safety compliance and operating standards at the site is also critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet financial goals and customer service objectives for warehouse operations.
• Plan and manage resources optimally to meet budgeted sales targets and adapt swiftly to supply chain demands.
• Maintain warehousing cost efficiency by keeping per-piece costs within budget.
• Continuously enhance throughput, lower costs per piece, and minimize waste in warehouse processes.
• Design and drive warehouse process improvements to raise productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ensure strict process compliance and timely completion of inbound/outbound activities to fulfill market requirements.
• Implement warehouse management processes such as batch management, flow-through, handling unit management, cycle counting, physical inventory, and RF device integration.
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for process and inventory audits.
• Lead inventory control by ensuring transaction accuracy, stock visibility, and best-in-class inventory management.
• Provide customers with efficient warehousing and logistic services, ensuring inventory visibility and prompt dispatches to stores.
• Maintain desired OTIF and DIFOT targets through continuous business interaction and IT coordination for warehouse system customization.
• Lead warehouse budgeting in alignment with business scale, keeping expenses within budget and controlling CAPEX and stock.
• Minimize working capital requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and empower the warehouse team while ensuring availability and development of top talent.
• Establish cross-functional teams and project plans to capitalize on opportunities.
• Implement processes to coach and nurture talent, building succession pipelines and objectively reward performance.

Additional Information
