Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead our client's warehouse operations located in Abu Dhabi, specializing in PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) products such as safety gear and protective equipment. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities ensuring smooth storage, handling, dispatch, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all daily warehouse functions including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of PPE materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting frequent stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciling discrepancies using the SAP system.
• Ensure punctual fulfillment of orders by collaborating effectively with sales, procurement, and logistics departments.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff including supervisors, pickers, packers, and loaders to achieve productivity targets and maintain discipline.
• Implement and maintain strict safety procedures suitable for handling PPE products.
• Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space use and streamline material movement.
• Manage warehouse expenses such as labor, storage, and transportation to control costs.
• Comply with quality standards, statutory laws, and company standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and transporters for smooth inbound and outbound logistics.
• Prepare detailed MIS reports, key performance indicators, and inventory dashboards for senior management review.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts using methodologies like 5S, Lean warehousing, and automation of processes.
• Identify and resolve operational blockages promptly and escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure accurate documentation within SAP for goods receipt notes (GRN), dispatches, returns, and internal stock transfers.
