Visual Merchandising Intern (Fall 2025)

About the Role

L’Occitane is offering an internship opportunity for students currently pursuing a major in Visual Merchandising or Fashion Merchandising. This internship provides practical experience in Visual Merchandising through hands-on tasks. Interns are expected to dedicate up to 28 hours weekly to their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle communication and requests from field teams, ensuring timely completion.
• Support monthly campaign activities by creating mock tables and developing presentations.
• Organize and maintain local props and signage inventory, source new items, and coordinate orders.
• Assist in preparations for opening or refurbishing boutiques, including ordering props and signage and preparing floor plan documents.
• Manage the showroom office, including ordering necessary products.
• Perform other assigned duties and project tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a rising junior, senior, or graduate student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Preferably up to one year of retail experience.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Photoshop and other creative design software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing abilities.
• Good planning and organizational capabilities, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A keen interest in the Beauty and Fashion industries.
• Ability to work in typical office settings.
• Availability to commit up to 28 hours each week.
