Role Overview
Balloo Hire Centres, part of The Briggs Equipment Group, is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to join their transport team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Ballyclare, Northern Ireland, requiring 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday with every other Saturday morning).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming representative of Balloo Hire Centres to customers.
- Deliver and retrieve various welfare hire equipment across sites in Northern Ireland.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on your vehicle.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep for a professional appearance.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a 3.5 tonne towing licence is mandatory.
- Holding a Class 2 licence is advantageous.
- Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative team-oriented mindset.
