Role Overview

UtiliQuest, LLC offers a career opportunity as a Trainee Utility Locator where you will acquire knowledge of safety procedures and methods for identifying subterranean utility lines. Working alongside skilled locators, you'll utilize specialized equipment and document findings to support safe and efficient construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Master utility locating practices, safety guidelines, and equipment usage
• Gain insights into local utility infrastructure and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with experienced locators to mark underground utilities accurately
• Operate locating devices and tools proficiently
• Record and map discoveries using digital tools
• Perform duties under varying weather conditions

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum age of 18 years
• Legal right to work in the United States with this employer
• Possession of a High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work background
• Valid non-provisional state driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Physical Demands

• Regularly work independently in isolated areas while performing tasks such as lifting up to 55 pounds, standing, walking, bending, stooping, using hands for fine motions, and operating a vehicle and computer peripherals
• Occasional use of portable ladders, working in confined spaces, and climbing stairs

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $23.00
