Overview

Join Dynatrace as a Technology Consultant, where you'll enable clients to fully utilize the Dynatrace platform throughout its observability lifecycle—from initial setup and configuration to ongoing optimization and technical guidance. Collaborate closely with customer teams including stakeholders, architects, and operations professionals to enhance monitoring strategies, boost application performance, accelerate troubleshooting, and help drive digital transformation efforts.

Key Duties

• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and fine-tuning of Dynatrace across client environments.
• Promote the adoption of observability by integrating diverse applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business processes into Dynatrace.
• Perform health evaluations, architecture assessments, and recommend best practices to elevate platform efficiency and operational maturity.
• Work alongside customer teams to diagnose and solve issues impacting application performance, uptime, and user experience using observability features.
• Create and manage dashboards, reports, alerts, workflows, and analytics fulfilling technical and business stakeholder needs.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to empower clients to fully leverage the platform and become self-sufficient.
• Provide consultancy on observability strategies, monitoring standards, automation, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Advise on governance, instrumentation approaches, cost efficiency, and best practices in observability.
• Engage regularly with customers to review performance metrics, provide insights, and suggest improvements during governance meetings.
• Maintain and improve Dynatrace deployments including upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, design diagrams, and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering to uncover business expansion opportunities through enhanced platform use.
• Establish yourself as a trusted technical consultant, fostering strong client relationships and supporting successful business results through expert observability guidance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Practical experience configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex enterprise software solutions.
• Proven track record of delivery through direct customer-facing implementation roles.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation capabilities with experience producing professional reports.
• Highly motivated, energetic self-starter thriving in dynamic, team-oriented environments focused on results.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to connect technical work to business value.
• Preferred experience includes consulting or project management, cloud and infrastructure technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes), and Dynatrace product certifications with 2+ years working experience.
• At least 2 years in IT sectors such as Application Performance Management, monitoring, network or system administration, performance testing, or development with Java/.NET.
• Experience in software engineering, object-oriented programming, and web programming including JavaScript and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with application technologies like J2EE, .NET, Citrix, Microservices, and databases including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL.
• Deep understanding of distributed and enterprise web applications, with capability to craft sound implementation strategies and performance improvements in complex environments.
• Outstanding organizational skills, interpersonal communication, eagerness to learn new technologies, and ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
