Role Overview

We are seeking seasoned Technical Project Managers to lead complex projects involving Data engineering, Cloud, and AI domains. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of projects involving multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and governance are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery from initiation through to final acceptance and handover of data engineering, cloud, and AI/ML projects, typically involving 8–20 member teams operating across multiple streams and time zones, both onsite and offshore.
• Oversee project financials closely, including weekly margin tracking against estimates, ensuring payment milestones are met on completion, and enforcing strict change control policies with proactive documentation and approval of scope changes.
• Coordinate client dependencies such as access, environments, security clearances, decision-making, and approvals—maintaining accountability through named owners, deadlines, impact assessments, and escalations where necessary.
• Maintain governance rhythm with daily updates, weekly client and leadership status reports, steering committee oversight with documented minutes, risk tracking, and a single reconciled source of truth aligned with project trackers.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Over 10 years' experience in IT with at least 6 years managing end-to-end technology projects.
• Proven leadership in delivery management covering planning, scheduling, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), scope, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience delivering Data Engineering, Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), and AI/ML initiatives.
• Strong technical understanding to effectively collaborate with Architects and Engineering teams on data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and integration tasks.
• An AI-first approach leveraging AI tools to enhance planning, documentation, estimation, reporting and delivery efficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Competence in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Smartsheet, and project delivery dashboards.
• Excellent communication, risk mitigation, and executive-level stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with Databricks or contemporary data platforms such as Lakehouse or Delta Lake.
• Background in GenAI/LLM project execution.
• Relevant certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or PRINCE2.
• Familiarity with FinOps or cloud cost optimization practices.
