Role Overview
The Local Payment Methods group manages a critical platform that processes billions in yearly payments, enabling diverse payment options like Buy Now Pay Later, Digital Wallets, and Crypto payments. As a Technical Program Manager, you will guide multifaceted initiatives that involve engineering, product, and cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will involve steering strategy, making key technical decisions, and overseeing projects from conception through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead both functional and technical delivery of important team and organizational programs.
- Collaborate with engineering to design, scope, and manage the development of product features.
- Produce detailed functional specifications, project plans, release schedules, and roadmaps.
- Simultaneously own and drive multiple software engineering programs.
- Influence product decisions to align with overall program and company goals.
- Build consensus and sway peers and leadership amidst uncertainty.
- Implement and guide agile methodologies to streamline and simplify project execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience combining technical program and product management, demonstrating successful launches of products with wide-reaching customer impact.
- Experienced in managing all software development cycles, showing critical thinking and leadership in program management.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to lead discussions concerning product and infrastructure design beyond just timeline delivery.
- Ability to independently lead initiatives involving cross-team and cross-functional coordination across various time zones.
- Excellent communication skills for establishing relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within global FinTech, payments, or global e-commerce organizations.
