Job Role
As a Team Member in Airside Operations, your main responsibility will be to support and coordinate various airside activities to uphold safety and operational efficiency. The role includes managing routine tasks, monitoring aircraft movements, assisting with ground support equipment oversight, ensuring adherence to safety requirements, and helping respond during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating aircraft movements, including directing planes to gates, taxiways, and runways while following air traffic control directions.
- Monitor aircraft positions and maintain communication with pilots and ground personnel to promptly resolve operational issues.
- Support the maintenance and availability of ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs, baggage carts, and refueling trucks by coordinating regular upkeep.
- Contribute to safety compliance by participating in audits, enforcing safety protocols, and facilitating staff safety training.
- Monitor airside environment to identify hazards and implement corrective measures swiftly.
- Help plan and execute emergency response procedures, including drills, coordination with emergency services, and managing evacuation efforts.
- Coordinate inspections and repairs of runways and taxiways, ensuring hazards and debris are promptly removed and surfaces meet safety criteria.

Educational Qualifications and Experience
