Talent Relations Coordinator

About the Role

This position requires presence onsite in New York, NY at least three days per week. We are partnering with a prominent media client seeking a versatile Coordinator to join their Talent Relations Team. The role involves supporting the team in coordinating guest appearances and identifying talent opportunities across the network. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in sports, culture, and podcasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a dynamic system to track upcoming content centered on culture and sports events.
• Maintain updated records for upcoming film, television, book releases, sporting events, and award shows.
• Handle logistical support for onsite guest appearances.
• Collaborate closely with the Talent Relations team to assist with guest bookings and launching new shows.
• Maintain calendars to coordinate performance review meetings with show teams.
• Conduct research and compile talent lists for various projects, including podcasts and live programming.
• Serve as a liaison between Talent Relations and the legal department to ensure smooth communication and accurate record maintenance.
• Establish efficient workflows and regular check-ins with show teams.
• Work cooperatively with producers, podcast managers, and show teams.

Candidate Profile

• 0 to 2 years of experience in media, entertainment, or sports sectors.
• Genuine enthusiasm for culture, film, television, sports, and music.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills.
• Proactive mindset with a results-driven attitude.
• Willingness to travel and attend onsite tapings.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid knowledge of pop culture and/or the sports industry.

Compensation

The targeted pay range for this role is between $32 and $38 per hour, determined by factors such as education, professional experience, certifications, and location.
