Role Overview
The Talent Manager position is a fully remote, contract role tasked with discovering, recruiting, and overseeing creative and on-camera talent for CBWS’s diverse film, TV, and digital initiatives. Responsibilities include scouting both emerging and seasoned creators, evaluating their alignment with current and future projects, and fostering inclusive, enduring partnerships with talent and their agents. This role manages the casting and onboarding workflow, aids contract negotiations alongside legal and production departments, and ensures up-to-date talent databases and tracking mechanisms are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily communication with talent and their representatives to support project needs.
- Align talent acquisition and management strategies with production requirements and brand goals.
- Oversee contract and schedule management, ensuring smooth logistics and coordination.
- Monitor and evaluate talent performance and engagement throughout productions.
- Collaborate across production, marketing, and partnerships teams for seamless talent integration into storytelling and branding efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in talent management, casting, or artist relations within film, TV, digital media, or entertainment industries.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder communication skills with talent and their representatives.
- Skilled in sourcing, screening, and evaluating creative professionals and content creators.
- Strong organizational abilities and adept at managing contracts, schedules, and talent logistics.
- A strong dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout talent management processes.
- Competent in remote work across multiple time zones using digital collaboration tools while maintaining detailed records.
- A sound understanding of entertainment industry trends and digital/social media platforms influencing creator-led content.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in communications, media, business, or related fields.
