Role Overview
The Talent Agent will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of talent by cultivating robust relationships and nurturing their careers long-term. This full-time position involves working four days per week at the Shoreditch office, with one day remote. Key duties consist of presenting talent to clients, arranging casting opportunities, negotiating contracts and fees, and facilitating clear communication between talent and clients. Daily responsibilities include handling client briefs, preparing casting-related materials, and confirming bookings. The agent will work closely with colleagues to pinpoint new opportunities, aid marketing efforts, and uphold Crumb’s standards of professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities to build trustful connections with both talent and clients.
- Proven skills in sales and negotiation, including talent pitching and securing bookings.
- Experience in talent management with the aptitude for supporting and advocating for talent through various projects.
- Understanding of casting workflows within the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or creative industries.
- Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects efficiently.
- Awareness of industry trends, digital portfolios, and social media to discover and promote new talent.
- Comfort operating within a fast-paced office environment.
- Previous experience in talent representation, casting, or agency environments is essential. Education or training in media, communications, or related disciplines is beneficial.
