The company’s purpose is simple: create better food so pets stay healthier and enjoy more good years with their families.
The organisation is guided by three core values: teamwork, ownership and agility. These principles shape collaboration, decision-making, problem-solving and delivery across the business.
Role overview
This position is for an experienced Supply Planner to own supply and production planning for the company’s canned wet food range. The role focuses on meeting customer demand through strong production scheduling, inventory optimisation and close coordination with manufacturing teams and an external toll manufacturing partner.
The opportunity is ideally based in Hawke’s Bay, although Auckland-based candidates are also welcome to apply.
What you will do
- Create and maintain supply plans that align customer demand with inventory goals and factory capacity.
- Work closely with the toll manufacturing partner to make sure production plans are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Prepare and track manufacturing orders and material purchase orders to keep product supply flowing across the portfolio.
- Review inventory trends, service performance and planning measures such as DIFOT and SLOB, then act early to lift results.
- Assess changes in demand, production limitations and supply risks, and turn them into workable solutions and backup plans.
- Build strong working relationships across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, Sales and Finance to support alignment and better decisions.
- Spot and drive improvements in planning processes, systems and day-to-day ways of working to support business growth.
- Bring a positive, resilient and collaborative approach that contributes to a fun, high-performing team environment.
What the role calls for
- Previous experience in supply planning, production planning or supply chain planning, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience using ERP systems, along with advanced capability in Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across functions.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive, high-performing team where you will work with experienced leaders, own meaningful responsibilities and contribute directly to the company’s growth journey. The team values hard work, celebrates success and keeps the atmosphere enjoyable.
