Role Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst is an individual contributor on the Supply Chain Planning and Analytics team, supporting warehouse operations through analysis and reporting. The role focuses on building dashboards, developing performance insights, and helping leaders track service, productivity, and cost across the distribution network. This is a hybrid position, with up to 3 days each week spent in the office or warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Use relational databases to improve visibility into business performance.
- Create, maintain, and refine SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze operational and warehouse data.
- Work through large, complex datasets to identify risks, trends, patterns, and practical conclusions.
- Design clear visualizations with business intelligence tools that drive action across distribution centers.
- Track, report, and analyze key metrics related to cost, service, and productivity.
- Help convert manual or legacy processes into cloud-based, automated, and repeatable workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to strengthen data quality, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Respond to ad hoc warehouse questions using data analysis.
- Prepare and present findings to warehouse leadership, senior leaders, and cross-functional business partners.
- Lead process improvement and inventory productivity projects across one or more distribution centers.
- Manage priorities independently and spot opportunities to improve operations.
Compensation
The posted salary range for this role is $67,700 to $88,830 per year.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, data science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory or distribution management, ideally in fast-paced, high-volume seasonal or heavily promoted retail/consumer goods environments.
- Solid knowledge of distribution center operations and inventory movement.
- Comfort working with inventory and warehouse data to generate useful insights.
- Strong SQL skills are required; experience with Python, automation tools, and BI platforms such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality practices, and reporting standards is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively across operations, technology, and supply chain teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Detail-focused, self-driven, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
- Interest in supply chain improvement and machine learning.
