Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

MaximaTek is looking for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their team based in New York. This opportunity suits fresh graduates or professionals with up to three years of experience, with a keen interest in supply chain operations, inventory control, logistics, and data analytics. The selected candidate will aid in supply chain coordination, drive process enhancements, and support efforts to improve operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis of supply chain data to uncover trends, identify inefficiencies, and explore cost reduction potentials.
• Oversee inventory metrics and coordinate activities with procurement and warehousing teams.
• Assist in demand forecasting and supply planning initiatives.
• Create detailed reports and interactive dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Monitor supplier performance, track shipments, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Work collaboratively across departments including logistics, procurement, operations, and finance.
• Support the refinement of supply chain workflows and best practice implementations.
• Maintain precise data records and supply chain documentation.
• Help with inventory reconciliation and conduct root cause analyses on discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
• Up to three years of experience in roles related to Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Procurement, or Inventory Management.
• Strong abilities in analysis and problem-solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
• Experience or knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, teamwork-focused environment.

Preferred Competencies

• Expertise in supply chain planning and inventory management.
• Experience with demand forecasting and procurement logistics.
• Strong data analytical capabilities utilizing Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau.
• Working knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
