Role Overview

The Sub Editor will primarily focus on lifestyle-related content including luxury, fashion, brand, and lifestyle topics. This role entails managing the Society, Culture, and Women Issues segment and ensuring editorial excellence in all published materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Society, Culture, and Women Issues section of the website.
• Conduct research, curate, and edit articles adhering to Google EEAT (Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) standards.
• Plan and develop content strategies aligned with editorial objectives and audience engagement goals.
• Provide mentorship and editorial guidance to the society and culture team, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Identify and resolve team challenges to enhance workflow efficiency and content quality.
• Collaborate with editorial colleagues to generate and implement creative content ideas and formats.
• Ensure high editorial standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all content.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital content editing and production.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Hindi, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Sub Editor or in a comparable editorial role, specializing in society, culture, and women-centric content.
• Strong proficiency in editing, proofreading, and optimizing content for digital platforms.
• Familiarity with implementing Google EEAT guidelines in content development.
• Excellent organizational skills coupled with leadership capabilities to manage editorial teams effectively.
