Store Keeper

Role overview

CSI Global is looking for a seasoned Store Keeper to oversee store and warehouse functions that support construction, facilities management, and electrical testing work. This role is focused on keeping inventory accurate, handling materials properly, making sure stock is available when needed, and following company procedures as well as health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Run and oversee day-to-day warehouse and store activities for construction, electrical testing, and facilities management projects.
• Receive, inspect, store, preserve, and issue materials in line with internal procedures.
• Keep inventory records correct and carry out regular stock matching and reconciliation.
• Track minimum and maximum stock thresholds and work with Procurement to prevent shortages.
• Create and apply inventory control methods that reduce loss, damage, and items becoming obsolete.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Finance on material needs and stock availability.
• Check and sign off material receiving reports, store issue vouchers, and material transfer requests.
• Perform monthly stock audits and compile inventory updates for management.
• Look into inventory variances and take corrective action where needed.
• Maintain the purchase order material delivery tracker, monitor shipment progress, and follow up with suppliers to keep deliveries on schedule.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with HSE requirements and company rules.

Qualifications and experience

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a closely related field.
• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in a Store Keeper, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar inventory-focused role.
• Prior exposure to construction, facilities management, or electrical testing projects is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material management processes.
• Comfort using Microsoft Excel and inventory or ERP software.
• Good organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to coordinate smoothly with several departments and external suppliers.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to record accuracy.
