Role Overview

Store Associates at the Kelowna, BC location of Fat Bastard Burrito Co. are charged with delivering friendly and efficient service to guests within a dynamic, on-site restaurant setting. This full-time role involves preparing menu items following company standards, assembling burritos and other products, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and replenishing supplies as necessary.

Associates manage customer orders at the counter or POS system, respond to menu inquiries, and professionally handle minor customer concerns. They also clean and sanitize workstations, dining areas, and equipment, assist with opening and closing tasks, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Deliver polite, efficient customer service and maintain clear communication with guests and colleagues.
• Adapt to a fast-paced food service environment while prioritizing food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Possess basic experience with cash handling or POS systems and follow order-taking/payment procedures precisely.
• Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork, eagerness to learn, and a positive, problem-solving mindset in supporting others.
• Physically able to stand for long durations, lift moderate weights, and safely perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous experience in quick-service restaurant or retail roles is beneficial but not required; full training will be provided.
