Stock Unloader Associate

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and reset the receiving area and unload general merchandise trailers, completing any live unloading of remaining stock.
• Maintain cold chain protocols for refrigerated and frozen goods and transport pallets to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assist in stocking the sales floor as required and provide customer assistance to enhance the shopping experience.
• Label and organize overstock merchandise in designated areas to ensure efficient inventory control.
• Follow company safety and cleanliness policies, including completing safety sweep logs and securing displays and fixtures.
• Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands and guarantee consistent store operation.

Potential Challenges

• Handle a high volume of tasks effectively during overnight shifts by managing energy and focus levels.
• Perform repetitive physical activities such as stocking, zoning, and organizing while maintaining attention to detail.
• Lift inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs, including standing for long periods and bending.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.
