Role Summary
The Startup Program & Experience Lead is responsible for managing the entire startup customer journey during onboarding and trial stages. This role aims to improve startup activation, engagement, conversion, and retention by developing scalable onboarding programs and engagement initiatives that deliver rapid value to startup customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance startup activation rates and boost engagement throughout the regional startup funnel.
- Design, implement, and oversee scalable onboarding and lifecycle management programs tailored for startup customers.
- Develop educational and engagement experiences that help startups quickly realize the platform's value.
- Identify challenges and friction points throughout the customer journey and implement improvements.
- Support startup-related initiatives including campaigns, events, and ecosystem programs across the region.
- Monitor and analyze program performance, customer engagement, and operational data to optimize conversion rates and annual recurring revenue.
- Contribute to building the Startups 2.0 framework by developing automated tools like scorecards to identify top startups and deliver high-touch customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in program management, customer success, growth, operations, or similar startup-focused roles.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep empathy for customers combined with an operational mindset.
- Competence working collaboratively across departments such as Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and Customer Success.
- Analytical skills to discern patterns and bottlenecks and identify chances for enhancement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency and results, though expert AI knowledge is not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous involvement with startups or startup ecosystems.
- Experience designing onboarding, lifecycle, or customer engagement programs.
- Familiarity with product-led growth strategies.
- Background in creating scalable operational processes and customer-focused programs.
- Interest in AI, productivity technologies, and the evolving future of work.

Compensation
The salary for this San Francisco-based role is competitive and commensurate with experience, typically ranging between $140,000 and $205,000 annually. Total compensation also includes equity and benefits.
