Job Overview

This position offers a compelling opportunity for an Instrument Specialist located in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The individual will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting and providing complex problem-solving assistance to the Instrumentation Maintenance team. The role emphasizes safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance of instrumentation systems within a petrochemical setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Organize and assist with preventive, routine, and turnaround maintenance tasks.
• Identify and resolve advanced issues related to instrumentation and PLC systems.
• Perform equipment failure inspections, field testing, and investigations.
• Offer technical advice and support to field personnel, contractors, and supervisors.
• Help with maintenance planning, documentation, and review of systems.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and reliability teams for smooth workflow.
• Ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Support spare parts standardization activities, manage MOC processes, and provide training.

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Instrumentation & Control.
• At least 10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a petrochemical plant environment.

Essential Technical Skills

• Proficient in interpreting instrumentation and control drawings as well as schematic diagrams.
• Skilled in understanding and analyzing P&ID diagrams.
• Familiar with SAP software modules related to maintenance planning.
• Knowledgeable about MDG and instrument spare parts management.
• Awareness of relevant Instrumentation and Control industry standards.
• Good understanding of international codes related to instrument equipment.
• Expert in fault diagnosis within loop systems.
• Experience working with PLCs and logic control systems.
