Overview

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be entrusted with architecting and taking full ownership of complex frontend systems that serve millions of users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend, you will translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance, and maintainable frontend solutions. You will contribute to the technical roadmap, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure delivery of flawless, pixel-perfect user interfaces.

Core Technical Expertise

• Advanced proficiency in React and TypeScript, including hooks, state management, and robust TypeScript usage.
• In-depth knowledge of Next.js features such as SSR, ISR, API routing, middleware, and optimization techniques.
• Strong command over modern JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and functional paradigms.
• Expertise in modern CSS methodologies: Tailwind CSS, CSS modules, CSS-in-JS (Emotion, Styled Components), and responsive designs.
• Hands-on familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Vite, ESBuild, including code splitting, tree-shaking, and lazy loading.
• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins for continuous delivery and automation.

System Architecture & Design

Quality Standards and Best Practices

• Extensive experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest, and E2E tools (Cypress, Playwright).

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in frontend development with at least 2-3 years focusing on React and modern JavaScript.
