Position Overview
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a temporary Shipper/Receiver I to join their Facilities Design and Development team in Regina, Saskatchewan for up to 11 months. This on-site role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Manually or with forklifts unload incoming goods; verify counts and inspect freight for damages, updating receiving documentation as per standard procedures.
- Restock shelves as needed using overstock or new shipments.
- Manage merchandise rotation following first-in, first-out protocols.
- Load outbound goods by hand or forklift onto common carriers, couriers, and company trucks; complete all shipping paperwork.
- Handle order fulfillment and document transactions for walk-in customers as required.
- Provide support to Shipper/Receiver II personnel.
- Inform Inventory Coordinator and supervisors of low stock on key merchandise items.
- Manage warehousing tasks related to petroleum equipment exchange programs involving core and warranty items.
- Participate in maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse, storage sheds, and external storage areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Team
This position involves close collaboration with the Supply Chain team and reports directly to the Supervisor of Inventory & Materials Management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in a related role.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license.
- Forklift operator safety certification must be obtained.
