Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi involves greeting customers warmly and managing all front-of-house operations related to seating. Responsibilities include handling reservations and walk-in guests, organizing seating arrangements to ensure smooth dining flow, addressing guest questions, keeping the host station orderly, managing waitlists, and communicating table availability with the serving staff. The server/host works closely with both management and other team members to uphold a pleasant atmosphere and help fulfill guest needs. Basic front-end duties and supporting guest satisfaction are key elements of this role.

Qualifications and Expectations

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a hospitable, professional manner when engaging guests.
• Capability to organize and maintain reservations, seating plans, and waitlists efficiently.
• Strong verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and reservation or queue tools is preferred.
• Dependable availability for full-time shifts including evenings and weekends, maintaining a tidy and presentable appearance.
• Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina to stand for long durations and move quickly within a busy dining area.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
