About the Company
Inter Miami CF is a Major League Soccer team competing in the Eastern Conference, owned by Miami Beckham United. The club hosts matches at Nu Stadium, a new 25,000-seat facility within Miami Freedom Park, a 131-acre master-planned site featuring a public park and extensive mixed-use commercial and hospitality developments. The club runs a diverse and expanding business including sports, live events, stadium management, retail, food & beverage, sponsorships, and media, supported by a lean Finance and Accounting team responsible for accounting, financial planning, procurement, and investor relations across multiple entities.
Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Procurement will serve as the club's first dedicated procurement leader, tasked with building and implementing a comprehensive source-to-pay (S2P) procurement framework across Miami Beckham United. This leadership role offers a unique chance to establish a procurement operating model from scratch within a rapidly growing, high-profile organization about to scale commercially.
This position will drive cost control initiatives across all third-party expenditures, author purchase order policies, approval workflows, vendor onboarding procedures, payment governance, and compliance reporting. The manager will enforce the club's Cost Control Policy Framework and has authority over non-compliant spending.
The role involves building vendor management infrastructure including maintaining vendor master data integrity, managing competitive bidding processes (RFI/RFQ/RFP), conducting contract reviews, ensuring insurance and tax compliance, and advancing sustainable cost reduction through spend analytics. Initially covering all Miami Beckham United operations, the scope may expand to Miami Freedom Park in the future. The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and centralizes procurement accountability.

- Lead training programs for departmental leaders and finance personnel on procurement policies and accountability.

- Manage vendor master data, oversee vendor onboarding validation (including W-9, insurance, sanctions screening), contract renewals, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Administer purchase order workflows, optimize procurement technology stack, and ensure adherence to purchase order compliance with a "no PO, no pay" policy.
- Supervise accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, AP reconciliation, and policy enforcement on rush payments.
- Develop and deliver procurement analytics and reporting to executive leadership showcasing savings, compliance, and vendor risk.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, department heads, and senior leadership on procurement and spend management matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar field.
- At least 6 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles within high-growth or transformation settings.
