Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Insights at The Coca-Cola Company plays a vital role in powering growth by generating and activating consumer, shopper, and category insights within the Europe Operating Unit. Reporting to the Senior Director, Insights, this position supports brand strategy, innovation, and activation by embedding insights across these areas and ensuring alignment with both regional and global insights networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the category Insights learning plan coordinated with global and local networks.
- Utilize qualitative, quantitative, and observational research methods to reveal consumer truths and emerging trends.
- Act as the main accountable figure for consumer insights within the category, safeguarding consistency and local relevance of global frameworks.
- Provide actionable guidance by translating human motivations and behaviors into recommendations for marketing, commercial, and innovation teams.
- Support marketing performance analytics by integrating diverse data sources such as syndicated, shopper, digital, and proprietary research to deliver comprehensive insights.
- Apply advanced capabilities including AI/ML models, predictive analytics, and behavioral science for insight generation.
- Leverage digital ethnography, social listening, and sentiment analysis to identify new consumer behaviors and business opportunities.
- Contribute to innovation processes by supporting opportunity identification, concept development, product and packaging evaluation, consumer co-creation, and new product launch tracking.
- Assist in developing insights for creative strategies, including briefing, validation, and optimization.
- Champion a culture of curiosity and learning, acting as a compelling consumer voice to marketing teams.
- Participate and contribute to EU Operating Unit and Global Insights networks by sharing best practices and guiding learning initiatives.
- Foster a motivating and engaged work environment for associates within the scope of influence.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in Consumer & Shopper Insights, Market Research, Analytics, Category Management, or related fields, with marketing or innovation experience considered an advantage.
- Proficient in core research methods including agile and innovative approaches.
- Strong ability to synthesize consumer and market information into business-oriented recommendations.
- Experienced in identifying emerging trends and using workshops or frameworks to transform insights into actionable opportunities.
- Excellent analytical capabilities for interpreting complex data and crafting persuasive narratives.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
- Adept at operating in a fast-moving, dynamic environment with fluctuating priorities.
- Collaborative approach suited for a matrixed organizational structure.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salaries vary by country and experience, for example, Italy offers a range from 56,300 EUR to 74,900 EUR, Poland from 227,000 PTN to 359,000 PTN, and Spain from 65,000 EUR to 83,900 EUR. There is an annual incentive reference value of 15% tied to market competitiveness. Comprehensive medical, financial, and additional benefits depend on the role.
