Job description
About KUN Investment Holding
KUN Investment Holding (KIH), founded in 2013 and based in Jeddah, invests across diverse sectors including healthcare, sports, wellness, hospitality, real estate, logistics, and more. The company operates with a streamlined corporate structure emphasizing ownership at every functional level and views technology as a critical, secure business enabler rather than a mere support function.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to comprehensively lead the IT division including infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data governance. This role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and involves elevating IT operations from reactive problem-solving to a controlled, well-managed platform that safeguards sensitive information and promotes core process digitization. This position requires hands-on leadership, blending strategic vision with operational oversight to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals and budgets.
- Formulate IT policies, standards, and service agreements.
- Prepare technology investment justifications and policy advisories for senior management.
- Oversee availability, performance, and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cloud/on-premises platforms, and end-user systems.
- Manage enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365 and HRIS (MenaITech), ensuring smooth implementation, upgrades, and system integrations.
- Plan and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives encompassing access control, identity management, threat protection, and incident handling.
- Enforce data governance and security standards across all systems and user/vendor interactions.
- Administer IT vendor relationships, contract negotiations, telecom partnerships, asset management, and budgeting with full fiscal responsibility.
- Drive automation of manual workflows across corporate functions.
- Lead and develop the IT team while establishing a service-driven support culture.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in IT, including leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity and IT governance is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and operational systems including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user computing.
- Experience managing enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, and Microsoft 365, covering implementations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Skilled in vendor management, licensing, budgeting, and timely project delivery.
- Additional certifications like CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft/Azure, or CCNP are advantageous.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic languages.
Candidate Attributes
The ideal candidate demonstrates discretion and reliability in highly confidential settings, accountability by owning results rather than tasks, sound decision-making in uncertainty, a leadership style focused on personnel development, and a strong service-oriented mindset toward facilitating business operations.
