Senior Full Stack ASP.NET Developer

Role Overview

Gem Fashion Studio is hiring a Senior Full Stack ASP.NET Developer to work on the Pendura ERP system. This is a full-time, work-from-office role in Mumbai. The position is open to both men and women, and it is strictly not a work-from-home opportunity.

Work Schedule

The working hours are 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with four Sundays off each month.

Compensation

The role offers an in-hand salary of Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 per month. Only candidates with prior experience will be considered.

Age Requirement

Applicants should be between 22 and 50 years old.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, support, and improve the Pendura ERP/system.
• Create, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Work on both enhancements to existing ASP.NET applications and development of new modules.
• Develop secure REST APIs and connect external services through third-party APIs.
• Improve application speed and tune database queries for better performance.
• Design and manage SQL Server databases, including stored procedures, views, indexes, and triggers.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Review code and help maintain strong coding practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live production environments.
• Apply security controls for authentication, authorization, and overall application safety.
• Use Git/GitHub for source control and collaboration.
• Leverage AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor AI, Claude, or ChatGPT to speed up and improve development work.
• Create clear technical documentation.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers and QA testers.
• Deploy and support applications on IIS servers and cloud-based environments.
• Maintain system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Handle backups, monitoring, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Improve the architecture so the application can support future growth.

Technical Expectations

The role requires strong hands-on experience across backend development, frontend development, API integration, database design, deployment, and security. The candidate should also be comfortable working with modern development tools and legacy codebases.

Preferred Background

Ideal candidates will have 3 to 8+ years of experience in Full Stack ASP.NET development and should have delivered at least three enterprise-grade web applications. Experience in ERP, CRM, HRMS, inventory management, e-commerce, or SaaS products is preferred. A solid understanding of scalable software architecture, performance optimization, and legacy code improvement is important. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices is also valued.

Additional Preferred Skills

Exposure to microservices, clean architecture, repository pattern, dependency injection, SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, logging tools, caching, real-time features, background jobs, search services, AI APIs, payment integrations, SMS/email integrations, and reporting tools will be an advantage.
