Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a crucial partner transforming financial data into strategic insights that influence resourcing, compensation planning, and organizational direction. Your efforts will include financial modeling, revenue and expense analysis, and performance evaluation to guide informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate intimately with senior leadership to analyze company performance, providing insights to guide decisions on resource allocation, compensation structures, and organizational strategy.
- Interpret complex financial and operational data to formulate executive-level recommendations and scenario analyses.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses for strategic projects involving program launches, growth initiatives, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage critical components of planning processes and ongoing forecasting cycles, incorporating monthly trend assessments and driver analyses.
- Develop and sustain sophisticated forecasting models enabling sensitivity, scenario, and "what-if" analysis to improve projection accuracy.
- Create clear forecasting assumptions that align finance teams and business partners.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports featuring actionable variance insights and commentary tailored for executive audiences.
- Identify significant factors impacting revenue and expenses, emphasizing risks, opportunities, and proposing corrective actions.
- Build consistent reporting frameworks that enhance leadership visibility into organizational performance via KPIs and operational metrics dashboards.
- Enhance revenue and expense reporting accuracy through detailed trend analysis and driver-based financial modeling, focusing on SaaS subscription dynamics including renewal and retention metrics.
- Partner with Accounting during month-end close cycles, ensuring integrity and accuracy of ledger activities and financial reports.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial processes to minimize manual effort and maximize reporting quality and speed through automation and data tool enhancements.
- Utilize and advance finance tools such as Workday Adaptive, Intacct, Salesforce, and business intelligence visualization platforms to elevate analytical capabilities.

- Timely and precise financial reporting delivers meaningful insights rather than just numbers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related field is required.
- Three to five years of pertinent experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally including support for functional business leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in variance analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting within deadline-driven settings.
- Strong initiative, intellectual curiosity, meticulous attention to detail, and integrity aimed at continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas in written and verbal form.
- Ability to independently manage priorities and juggle multiple deliverables effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel along with solid skills in financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Intacct, Salesforce, and BI visualization tools is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with backgrounds in technology and SaaS sectors, particularly subscription revenue analysis.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000, with individual offers based on candidate qualifications, experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
