Position Overview and Working Conditions

The position is designated for Saudi nationals exclusively, adhering to Saudization policies. The role is based in Riyadh at the Al Mursalat area with working days from Sunday through Thursday.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the Production team with financial and accounting matters arising during production projects.
• Ensure vendor invoices are accurately coded and approved for payment.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to address vendor inquiries and payment issues.
• Manage and reconcile Production Pre-Paid Cards and maintain stringent controls over these expenditures.
• Oversee and reconcile expenses incurred via Production Credit Cards.
• Handle travel and entertainment expenses for staff using the Concur system.
• Assist Production Managers with monthly reporting of actual costs versus budget, including variance analysis.
• Conduct proactive financial analysis to identify potential overspending or underspending in production budgets.
• Address other ad hoc financial tasks related to production as necessary.
• Collaborate with accounting personnel across various departments for financial processes.

This role requires a hands-on approach and the willingness to work as part of a dynamic team. Flexibility to occasionally work irregular hours is expected.

• Maintain up-to-date cost tracking documentation.
• Develop clear understanding of client project expenditures.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of expenses.
• Process invoices efficiently and promptly.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Currently pursuing a recognized accounting qualification such as SOCPA.
• University degree or equivalent qualification in an accounting-related field.
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Capable of working independently with initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
• Genuine interest in television production and motivation to build a career in this industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles.

Desirable Attributes and Knowledge

• Familiarity with SAP accounting software.
• Understanding of television program production operations.
• Interest in sports.
