You will join the Core Analytics Team, a centralized group of analytics specialists focused on delivering insightful data-driven results. This team collaborates closely with Engineering, Product, and Business units, using shared tools and expertise to influence strategic decisions and enhance user experiences worldwide. Role Summary

As a Senior Data Scientist on the Core Analytics team supporting UI Originals, you will apply advanced data science methods to shape unique Roku content experiences. Working closely with Product Management and Engineering, you will analyze user interactions, assess new feature impacts, and generate actionable insights to guide product and business strategies. Additional responsibilities include improving performance, enhancing reporting, and deepening understanding of the Roku ecosystem. This position requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data science projects with company goals and product strategy.
• Design, conduct, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product changes and support decision-making.
• Translate complex analyses into understandable narratives, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership and partners.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key business, operational, and system metrics.
• Analyze both structured and unstructured data to discover insights, trends, and support data-driven decisions.
• Develop data pipelines to automate processes, ensure validation, and enhance reporting.
• Perform exploratory data analysis on emerging trends within the Roku platform.
• Work with Program Management and Engineering teams to gather feedback and improve data solutions continuously.
• Provide leadership teams with actionable insights regarding initiative performance and future opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years professional experience backed by a bachelor’s or master’s degree in quantitative disciplines such as Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of experience within consumer products, digital media, entertainment, or related sectors.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical or programming languages including Python, R, SAS or similar.
• Hands-on expertise with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Looker.
• Experience in designing and implementing A/B tests, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
• Ability to proactively approach challenges and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Compensation varies based on individual factors like skills, certifications, and geographic location. Compensation Details (California Only)

The estimated annual salary range is $179,900 to $190,000. Final package depends on candidate qualifications and location.
