Role Overview
The Senior Bartender at Masale Goa is entrusted with managing all bar operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience through expert mixology and effective team leadership. This position demands a deep knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, inventory and cost management, and stringent compliance with hygiene and legal guidelines.
Primary Duties
- Prepare a variety of standard and innovative beverages, including cocktails and mocktails, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
- Manage bar opening and closing procedures and uphold cleanliness and organization throughout shifts.
- Offer warm customer interactions, recommend drinks tailored to guests' tastes, and handle feedback professionally.
- Control and document inventory, minimizing waste and ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
- Lead, train, and mentor bartenders and assistants, create duty rosters, and foster discipline and professionalism within the team.
- Ensure legal compliance with Goa Excise Rules and maintain food safety and hygiene standards rigorously.
- Oversee accurate billing and sales reconciliation through POS systems, coordinating closely with the accounts department.
- Contribute to menu innovation by suggesting new cocktails, promotions, and beverage pairings, while staying abreast of industry trends.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least five years in bartending, with two or more years in a senior supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IMFL, imported spirits, wines, beers, and bar operations.
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management techniques.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and leadership abilities.
- Bartending or hospitality certification is advantageous.
- Key abilities include advanced mixology, inventory and cost control, upselling, team leadership, problem-solving, and time management.

Work Schedule and Benefits
