School Nurse

Position Overview

This role invites a compassionate and dedicated Registered Paediatric or General Nurse to join a specialist school team in Billingshurst, England. The service supports children and young people with complex medical and additional needs, with a focus on delivering person-centred care and promoting well-being in a collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care tailored to individual student needs.
• Evaluate and document students' health requirements, maintaining accurate care plans.
• Administer medications safely and effectively while managing medical emergencies as needed.
• Engage and coordinate with parents, school staff, and external healthcare professionals.
• Assist the Senior Nurse in upholding clinical excellence within the school.
• Offer training and guidance to school team members on health-related issues.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Paediatric Nurse (RSCN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) with relevant pediatric experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and confident in autonomous work settings.
• Commitment to enhancing health outcomes for children and young people.
