Role Overview

We are looking to onboard a proficient Data Engineer to join our Digital Integration & Optimization team, a passionate group of data experts committed to delivering world-class solutions to foster a data-driven culture. The successful candidate will have a significant role in building, testing, supervising, and improving vital data pipelines connecting various databases and critical business systems used by marketing, sales, and customer support departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in data profiling across core Revenue Operations and go-to-market systems to assess data accuracy, uniformity, and completeness.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data workflows integrating Salesforce, Siebel CRM, Oracle ERP, SQL Server, and Azure Cloud sources.
• Build and support resilient data pipelines and automated data transformation mechanisms using SQL and big data frameworks like Python, Hadoop, and Spark.
• Create and manage database scripts, triggers, functions, and stored procedures.
• Develop automation for testing and validating data quality to comply with governance policies.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to understand data necessities and the influence of technical choices on analytics and reporting.
• Work closely with technical, operational, product management, and business units to ensure cohesive and effective data project execution.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes that enhance data quality.
• Contribute actively to cultivating a culture focused on engineering excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience working hands-on with Salesforce, Siebel CRM, and Oracle ERP.
• Knowledge of marketing and sales automation tools such as Demandbase, SalesLoft, and HubSpot.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data processing platforms including Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools, notably Power BI.
• Competency with AI-driven tools optimizing database performance.
• Experience preparing datasets for AI and machine learning applications.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing work environments while maintaining quality.
• Expertise with Salesforce data utilities including Data Loader, Workbench, and Inspector.
• Demonstrated implementation of best practices in data engineering.

Education & Experience

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related disciplines. A master’s degree is advantageous but not mandatory if equivalent experience exists.
• Over 5 years of progressive experience in areas such as data engineering, data integration, or backend data platform development supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience designing and maintaining complex data pipelines across diverse systems such as CRM, ERP, and cloud platforms, coupled with expertise in data quality frameworks and collaboration with varied teams for analytics-ready data solutions.
• Preferred certifications include cloud/data engineering credentials (e.g., Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS/GCP certifications) and Salesforce certifications focused on data architecture or platform development (such as Platform Developer I or Data Architecture & Management Designer). Additional qualifications in analytics, databases, or big data technologies like Power BI, SQL, Hadoop, or Spark will be a plus.
