Overview
Aurenne Group Mining seeks a committed Safety Advisor to join the Mt Ida Gold Mine team, operating on an 8:6 FIFO roster. This role is vital in ensuring safety compliance at an owner-operated mine with a close-knit team environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Offer safety advice and guidance concerning workplace health and safety
- Investigate incidents and safety events on site
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards
- Ensure all employees and contracted personnel adhere to safety policies
- Keep safety-related documentation, emergency response plans, and registers current
- Perform safety audits and assist with ongoing compliance monitoring
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar mining safety role
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or an equivalent qualification
- Possession of a Manual C Class driver’s licence
- Solid knowledge of the Western Australia Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022
- Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Capability to make sound decisions amid dynamic and changing scenarios
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- HLTPAT005 certification for specimen collection in drug testing
