Role Overview

This position is for a Store Assistant in ALDI’s retail team at The Gap. Prior retail experience is not required. The employer is seeking someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine willingness to learn.

The store operates seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, so the role involves variety and regular movement across different parts of the store rather than being limited to one task area.

Key Duties

• Provide friendly customer service and handle checkout transactions.
• Replenish shelves so products remain available for shoppers.
• Check that stock is correctly priced and within date.
• Set up attractive displays for ALDI special buys.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-presented store environment.

Additional Information

• The pay offered is an hourly rate of $31.27 plus shift allowances.
• The role averages 15 hours per week.
