Position Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Data Analyst with expertise in pharmacoepidemiology to contribute to projects aimed at enhancing drug safety and public health outcomes. This role involves managing and analyzing large healthcare datasets using sophisticated analytical techniques to produce real-world evidence informing medication safety, regulatory decisions, and healthcare policy formulations.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in statistical analysis and research programming.
• Skill in managing, cleaning, and linking extensive healthcare datasets, especially administrative claims from Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurers.
• Proficiency in data management and statistical programming platforms including SAS, SQL, R, STATA, or Python.
• A thorough understanding of pharmacoepidemiologic study designs along with causal inference methodologies for analyzing observational data.
• Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC, ATC) and coding for diagnoses and procedures (ICD, CPT).
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities for scientific documentation and teamwork.
• High motivation with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work autonomously.

Preferred Education

A Master’s degree is required, while a PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, or related fields is preferred.

• Employment is subject to a satisfactory background check.
• Work schedule is standard, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
