Role Summary

The company is looking for a motivated full-time Research Associate with hands-on experience in SPR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry, qPCR, and cell-based assays. The position is based onsite in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of next-generation biologic therapies for oncology and cardiovascular/metabolic indications.
• Plan and carry out core biology methods such as SPR, Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, qPCR, and cell-based assays to support early-stage antibody discovery and preclinical characterization.
• Generate biologic materials through lipid-based transfection and then purify and evaluate them using FPLC and HPLC to determine composition and quality.
• Investigate and resolve problems related to laboratory instruments and experimental workflows.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Biotechnology or a closely related discipline is required.
• Strong working knowledge of FlowJo, OpenLabs CDS, ImageJ, and GraphPad Prism is expected.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite at the Gaithersburg, MD office.
