Role Overview
This fully remote, full-time position for an Order Entry/Typist Clerk involves ensuring precise and prompt processing of customer orders and internal documents, supporting smooth administrative workflows, and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely enter client orders, project details, and material demands into the company's database system.
- Transcribe, format, and type various documents such as proposals, client communications, and internal memos.
- Verify data accuracy by reviewing for errors and inconsistencies with regular audits.
- Organize and maintain digital filing systems to ensure easy access and updated records.
- Work with internal departments to clarify order information and resolve any documentation issues.
- Support preparation of reports and spreadsheets when required.
- Provide general administrative assistance to maintain efficient operational workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in data entry, order entry, or typing-related positions.
- High proficiency in typing speed and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a remote work setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Knowledge of landscaping or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
Compensation
The role offers an hourly wage ranging from 18 to 26 USD depending on the candidate's experience.
