  • Authorize rental applications and leases, and ensure timely rent collection.
  • Build a culture of accountability and high performance across assigned sites.
  • Implement corporate training programs, communications, and company policies at the property level.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance management of property managers and team members to ensure outstanding customer service and operational success.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses and design marketing and leasing strategies to maintain high occupancy rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant city, county, and state regulations concerning properties.
  • Perform property inspections to uphold quality, regulatory standards, and enhance curb appeal.
  • Serve as the brand ambassador by promoting Indus's mission, vision, and values.
  • Engage with local businesses, agencies, and educational institutions to foster community relations and support occupancy and reputation.
  • Enhance resident engagement through regular interaction during site visits and events, supporting retention.
  • Address escalated resident issues, lease violations, and retention efforts alongside community managers.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, real estate, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least four years of multi-family property management experience with a minimum of one year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas driver’s license required; Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) certification is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities; leadership capabilities; sound business judgment and understanding of multi-family real estate operations.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing laws and health and safety policies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office and property management software; experience with RealPage is a plus.
