QuickBooks Accounting Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a QuickBooks Accounting Specialist for a contract position offering remote work flexibility. The role involves managing various financial tasks using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop platforms. Compensation ranges from $50 to $80 per hour based on experience, with a weekly commitment between 10 and 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle financial operations using QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Efficiently oversee invoicing, bill payments, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Prepare, analyze, and verify Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements to ensure correctness.
• Systematically maintain the Chart of Accounts, customer, and vendor records.
• Detect accounting inconsistencies and process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven practical expertise with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop is required.
• Strong background in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• Exceptional analytical abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
