About the Role

Kingdom People seeks a detail-oriented Quality Controller to join a reputable FMCG company based in Marden, Kent. This role is pivotal in verifying that products adhere to quality, safety, and customer standards before distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine products for quality, appearance, and adherence to specifications.
• Detect and report any defects, damages, or quality issues.
• Oversee storage conditions to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain precise inspection records and quality documents.
• Assist in sampling products and conducting quality tests.
• Collaborate with team members to investigate and address quality concerns.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company quality policies.
• Provide guidance and training to new staff as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in quality control, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Understanding of inspection routines and storage procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a prompt identification of issues.
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
• Able to perform well in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Dedicated to upholding stringent quality and safety guidelines.
• Possession of a driving licence is advantageous.

Working Conditions

• Requirement to work alternating weekends.
