Role summary
This position reports to the Head of Offer and leads the delivery of technology initiatives across the Offer portfolio. The scope covers Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning, and Ancillary products. Success in the role means delivering projects on schedule, within approved budget, and to the expected quality level while creating clear business value.
The role operates within the PMO governance model and works closely with commercial, distribution, and technology stakeholders, acting as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external delivery partners. Because the portfolio depends heavily on airline core systems, deep practical experience with the Amadeus Altéa PSS environment is required.
Key accountabilities
- Direct the delivery of one or more projects so that scope, cost, timeline, and quality targets are achieved.
- Ensure project outcomes translate into measurable benefits and business value.
- Create, maintain, and track integrated project plans that support business priorities.
- Run requirements gathering, scope definition, and solution design activities with both business and technical teams.
- Manage work related to Amadeus Altéa PSS and connected offer, retailing, and distribution platforms.
- Assess project risks and issues carefully and respond to them in a structured and objective way.
- Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Keep project communications, governance updates, and status reporting timely and accurate.
- Control project scope, change requests, risks, dependencies, assumptions, and open issues.
- Track project financials and look for ways to improve delivery efficiency.
- Prepare regular project and portfolio updates in line with PMO standards.
- Work with internal teams, vendors, and Amadeus to support successful delivery.
- Support implementation follow-up, lessons learned, project closeout, and benefits tracking.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex technology projects and business transformation programmes.
- Background in airline, travel technology, or aviation environments, with exposure to Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning, Ancillary Products, or airline retailing systems.
- Mandatory hands-on project delivery experience within the Amadeus Altéa PSS ecosystem, including Reservations, Inventory, and Departure Control, as well as related commercial platforms.
- Experience coordinating Amadeus and third-party vendors as delivery partners.
- Understanding of modern airline retailing concepts such as NDC and Offer & Order Management is an advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
- Good analytical, planning, and organisational ability, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
